Project Overview

Mint Me A Coffee (MMAC) is a tipping platform for creators, designed to simplify support by replacing traditional donation requests with a seamless "Mint Me A Coffee" interaction.\ \ MMAC was a winning project at the Base Batchest Buildathon for the APAC region, recognized for its concept despite its non-functional AI-generated prototype (Vibe Code). Currently part of the IncuBase program, MMAC is preparing to pitch at Demo Day, competing for a $1M grant pool, with a top prize of $60,000 USD and 2nd/3rd prizes of $25,000 USD each.

To compete effectively, MMAC requires a functional Farcaster mini-app as its MVP. This proposal seeks funding from GroundsDAO to develop the MVP, with GroundsDAO as a sponsor and a share of potential winnings.

Funding Request

We request 1.3 ETH to fund the development of the MMAC Farcaster mini-app. The funds will cover:

• Full development of the Farcaster mini-app MVP from scratch.
• Testing and deployment to ensure functionality for Demo Day.
• Project management and minor operational costs.

Development Plan

• Developer: Wellknow developer with experienced in blockchain and Dapp development.

• Scope: Build a functional Farcaster mini-app MVP for MMAC, enabling creators to receive tips via a simple interface integrated with the Farcaster protocol.

• Timeline: 2 weeks, aligning with IncuBase Demo Day preparation in 4 weeks.

• Deliverables:

  • A user-friendly Farcaster mini-app allowing creators to set up tipping profiles.
  • Secure transaction functionality for tipping via Base blockchain.
  • Demo-ready presentation materials showcasing the app.

Benefits for GroundsDAO

In exchange for the 1.3 ETH funding, MMAC offers:

1. Sponsorship Visibility:

   • GroundsDAO will be prominently featured as the primary sponsor of MMAC during Demo Day and in all project-related materials (pitch deck, app interface, and marketing).
   • Exposure to IncuBase judges, investors, and the broader Base ecosystem.

2. Treasury Share:

   • If MMAC wins a cash prize at Demo Day ($60,000 for 1st, $25,000 for 2nd/3rd), 30% of the prize will be returned to the GroundsDAO treasury in ETH (at the prevailing USD/ETH rate).
   • Example: A $60,000 win would return $18,000 (approx. 7.2 ETH at $2,500/ETH) to GroundsDAO.

3. Ecosystem Growth:

   • MMAC’s success will promote GroundsDAO’s mission of supporting innovative Web3 projects related to coffee, enhancing its reputation as a key player in the Base and Farcaster ecosystems.
